Automatically filtering published to web report

Hello everyone!
I am reaching out for advice about power Bi. We are trying to implement a solution from which we call the embedded Power BI report „Published to web (public)“. The BI report is integrated into our solution via an iframe object. Our data is loaded to Power BI from Postgres DB via ODBC bridge using PostgreSQL driver. Please is there a way how to adjust a parameter (that is responsible for filtering the data) used in a query that loads the data to Power bi report, then re-run this query (so new data will be loaded to power BI) using only the link to the embedded report?

If not, could you please advise some other solution on how to approach this? The use case for our solution is: Once the user performs a calculation (done in our solution) the results are made available for Power BI in Postgres DB. We would like to visualize them to the user. However, we have multiple users that perform multiple different calculations at once and we need the visualization to be based on unique data that pertains to each calculation. In the data, there is a parameter by which we can identify the calculation. Please is there a way how to automatically generate and publish a report based on new data available in the database?

We tried to use filtering through the URL, however, it does not work for the embedded report.

We will appreciate all the help!
Thank you in advance for all the comments.

@MisoZahradnik , if it is needed to load new data, you should schedule a refresh of the power bi service. I needed, use on-premise gateway

You can also check power bi cmdlet for automation
