Automatic updates are turned off

Good morning

From a time to this part, some days, without knowing why, the automatic updates are disabled.

I activate them again without any problem, but after a few weeks they deactivate again.

Can someone give me any explanation or indication on how to fix it or what to review?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Syndicate_Admin ,

I checked your screenshot, I think your error should be caused by gateway offline.

    Your error is as below.

Unable to connectThis data source cannot connect to any gateway instance in the cluster. More information about the specific errors for each gateway instance can be found below.

GatewayArgo: The gateway is offline or could not be contacted.

You can try you refresh your report manually by >Dataset>Refresh Now. Then if you get same error as your screenshot, please check the requirements as below.

    1. Make sure the PC with gateway is turned on.

    2. Make sure the gateway you configured is online.

    Best Regards,
    Rico Zhou

        Hi Syndicate_Admin ,

What does Automatic updates in Power BI mean, scheduled refresh or others?

If it means scheduled refresh, you may refer to offical blogs as below.

In Power BI, the scheduled refresh will toggle to Off after 4 failed refreshes in a row.

        Configure scheduled refresh
