I am using latest version of Power BI desktop. I am using a single direct query source, when the underlying SQL table is changed, the report is updated automatically. This is good, however the refresh seems to only work from within Power BI desktop. As soon as I publish the report (regarldess of workspace, tried both the regular and premium capacity), the report never updates when unerlying change is made to data. My report is set to page update every 30 seconds. Seems like a bug to me, what is causing this issue?
EDIT: Was user error related to admin settings, please see reply below

Hey @agneum ,
Take a look at this article. Is your report set up correctly? I did a quick test and for me it's working fine.

I had to go into the Admin portal and change the settings for refresh there. https://app.powerbi.com/admin-portal/ppuTenantSettings?experience=power-bi
It now works as expected, thank you for your quick reply and support.
