Hi all
So I think I know the answer but thought I'd double check it with you smart people - basically I have an LMS system with 10 modules in it.
I need a pie chart showing the % of people who have completed each module. so I have to make 10 pie charts. Fairly Simple.
However, I want to be able to do this dynamically - i.e. Have Powerbi know there are 10 distinct module titles, and create the 10 pie charts. This is mainly because module titles get added a couple of times a month, and I don't want to have to manually check each time one is added AND I am the only person in my team who knows how to do this - if I'm off they wouldn't be able to create the visual needed. I have tried to get them to use a table (as that's an obvious way of showing the same data, but it's not 'pretty enough' for management. at this point, i'd take any visual - just a way of nicely showing X modules in their identical graphics.
Using python isn't available - I need the content to update daily through the powerbi service, and in my understanding, if i use python anything, it won't auto update.
Thanks all!!

Hi @zantarel ,
In some visualizations you have the option to generate small multiples, so you can have that option wihout big problems, however the pie chart is not one of those visuals.
Based on the new card visualization you can generate an SVG measure and then place the titles on the Categories.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsAxis: Module
Values: Completed and Not Completed (or just completion %)
Turn on data labels, sort by % complete
This gives a “per-module completion” view that scales to any number of modules and is usually easier to compare than 10 pies.
Hi @zantarel
We can have one visual instead of many using a single stacked bar/column chart (or small multiples) showing completion % by module. Also, small multiples with one pie per module which creates dynamically inside one visual.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @MFelix that's really interesting - I actually hadn't played with the new card much at all. I'll have to look at formatting options for this but it definitely opens some options up! I was looking for the small visuals thing but couldn't work it out and thought maybe I dreamt it!! Got it now - and also is a viable option. Thanks so much!!
