Auto Refresh from Desktop

I have recently published a report. I am attempting to get the report to auto refresh, however, I have local files on my computer which I am using in the report. I am not exactly sure how the auto refresh works for published reports. Is the reason it is not auto refreshing because of the local files? If so how do I go about getting the report to auto refresh? Or is it possible for the report to refresh from the desktop?

Is it possbile for me to automatically republish the report at a scheduled time from the server the report is on?

Hi @Anonymous ,

If all you want is to refresh the data in the dataset, you do not need to republish the report each time. You can install the configuration gateway and configure a scheduled refresh for the dataset.
