Hello,
I need help, please, first with the TOP N filter because it's bringing more than 10 pieces of data in the chart, and I understand that it's because the last value is being repeated. Here's an example:
I experience something similar when I ask it to bring me the TOP 3 for each month, and when it encounters duplicates, it brings more values.
Lastly, concerning the labels, it brings all the labels from a chart when I only want it to bring those of the elements that are visible in that chart.
¿Can somebody help me please?

Thanks!!
Hi @abrahamfariaz
According to the top, you just need to decide what you want to do with your repetitions.
According to the filtering legend of the graph:
Could you please specify where the problem lies.
You have all the values on the graph.
There's just one of them that's really small compared to foreigners
Hi @Ritaf1983!
Thanks for answering 🙂
Can you explain what you mean with "According to the top, you just need to decide what you want to do with your repetitions." can you please give me an example? I want to show only top 3 or top 10 just I established, but it didn't work
Hi @abrahamfariaz Top N is top N values.
In case of duplicates in these values range it couldn't be the same N items.
This is just logic, not power bi limitation.
So you need to tell the tool what you want to do with the duplicates.
for example, according to students in class, the following table top 3 are Ron, Riki, Rita, Mark, and Dima because they have the highest 3 grades...
Student | Grade |
Ron | 100 |
Rita | 95 |
Riki | 95 |
Mark | 95 |
Dima | 87 |
Tim | 20 |
Hi @Ritaf1983 , how are you?
Thank you for your response!
I've heard about this function, but I'm not sure how to apply it since I mostly do counts within the charts, so I don't have a dedicated table for this.
Could you please provide me with an example using one of my charts?
