Hi All,
I have created a Line and Clustered Column Chart by unpivoting the Quarter columns and adding a new table for Quarter sorting. I also established a relationship between both "Attribute" columns to ensure the correct order in the chart.
Everything looks fine after making these changes, but I want to assign different color codes to each BASE FCST Quarter, which is not working as expected.
Below is the link to access the sample PBIX file for reference.

Additionally, I have created a few DAX measures and included them in the chart, but I am unable to see the conditional formatting options.
I am specifically looking for a solution for the Line and Clustered Column Chart only.
Could you please assist me with this?
Thank you

Hi @harirao ,
You can try this custom visual: Multiple Axes Chart - XViz.
This visual allows for setting conditional formatting for measures.
Please refer to the following steps.
Click on the pencil symbol to enter the editing screen.
Under the 'Conditional Formatting' tab, you can add rules to set the color for measures.
In my example, I have set a different color for each quarter for the 'Fcst' measure.
You can continue to assign different colors to other measures based on quarters.
Please see the attached pbix for reference.

@Anonymous
Thank you so much for providing the solution—it is working perfectly at the desktop level. However, when I published the dashboard to Power BI Service, it is asking for a license.
I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Are there any other custom visual charts that wouldn’t have this license issue?
Once again, I really appreciate your help!
Regards,
Hi @harirao ,
Unfortunately, after searching and testing, none of the free(No license required) custom Line and Clustered Column Chart visuals in MS AppSource will meet your needs.
You need to purchase a license to use this custom visual: Multiple Axes Chart - XViz.
Or ask professional developers to customize a visual that meets your needs.

Hi All,
Could you please check and provide a solution for the request I posted earlier?
I would appreciate your insights and suggestions.
Thanks,
@harirao
It's not possible to assign different color codes to each BASE FCST Quarter in a Line and Clustered Column Chart when multiple values (measures) are assigned to the X-axis. The reason is that Conditional Formatting is disabled in Power BI when multiple measures are plotted on the same axis.
I you could explain your objectives, I would be to suggest other alternatives

Thanks for your response. Are there any other options, apart from Conditional Formatting, to assign different colors for each BASE FCST Quarter in a Line and Clustered Column Chart?
I would appreciate any suggestions or alternative approaches.
Thanks,
