Hi Community,
We have built a PBI dashboard for our Marketing team. One of the charts they would like to see, is a chart that they have set up in Excel using a dummy table.
This allows them on 1 chart to display 2 different lines with 2 different set of filters. This shall allow them to compare e.g. Enquiries for a specific Enrolment Year done in a specific Fiscal Year with Enquiries done for a comparing Enrolment Year and the relevant Fiscal Year (e.g. 1 year prior).
Did anyone of you achieve a similar chart that applies 1 filter set on 1 line and another filter set on the 2nd line in the same chart?
Additional complexity comes in, that the measure itself is flexible. So, it can show e.g. Enquiries, but also Applications depending on what is selected in another dropdown (dynamic measure).
Couldn't find anything in the custom visuals in the PBI store.
If someone has worked on something similar before and found a solution, would be greatly appreciated to get any pointers/support.
Thanks a lot
Best wishes
Kathleen
You can do this with standard visuals, a proper data model (the date from the dates table as the x axis) and with Field Parameters (to swap measures in and out).
Please provide sample data that covers your issue or question completely.
