Apply filtres in groups in matrix

I have to use two fifferent groups in the same matrix in order to dispaly: Can I use two groups in the same matrix?

How can I apply some filters on the groups like SSRS?

I'm not certain what does 'the two different groups' mean. Are they come from a single table or two tables? Could you plesae share more details about this issue? Sample data and expected output would help tremendously.

In addition, if you just want to set filters in Matrix visual, there is a filter pane in power bi desktop so that you can set filter in 'Filters on this visual' about Matrix visual.
