I've a slicer with the hierarchy Column A & Column B added to it. In this slicer, we want to highlight the values ( or the change the backround color of) of the items wherever Column A = "Value 1". We can also say that we want to apply conditional formatting to slicer values.
Is this possible to do in POWER BI? I searched but couldn't find any solution regarding this.
Thank you in advance!
Is there any custom visual (slicer) which allows us to do so?
Hi @adityachopra199
I have tried 2 custom slicer.
Chicletslicer and Hierarchy slicer
It gives you option for selected values. Different colors on hovering and unselected values.
But not conditional formatting on slicers values.
I dont think such type of slicer functionality is available.
I hope i answered your question.
Please give kudos and accept my solution so other may find it helpful.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for confirmimg!
Hi @adityachopra199
Actually there is no way you can apply the conditional formatting specific to slicer values. There are very limited options available for visual formatting of slicer.
As you can see there is no way you can aaply some measure colors values to slicer color function.
I hope this post helps you. Please give kudos and accept my solution!
Thanks!
