Apply SQL query to a dupplicated table on Power Query

Hi everyone,

I have a Table 1 which applies an SQL query to my DB. I would like to create a second table, Table 2, that  I apply a second query with a tricky where clause to Table 1. Is it possible to do this in Power Query without having to query my DB twice with the part in common of the query? I would like to avoid replicating the where conditions with many steps in Power Query.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am aware of that. My questions is whether I can apply a SQL query to this duplicated table.

Suppose I create Table 1 by applying the query select * from original_table.

Now I want to create Table 2 as: select * from table 1 where CONDITIONS.

My questions is wether I can apply the second query.
