Hi all,
I need your help again :-).
While wondering around this forum I couldn't find a solution... So I hope you can help me out here.
I have different tables with the same problem, but they cannot be changed, so I need a uniform solution within PowerBI.
My issue is as follows.
The data in my tables is organized in the following order:
| Titel | Information | Date 1 | Value 1 | Value 2 | Date 2 | Value 3 | Value 4 |
| xxxxx | Some text | 01/01/2023 | 12 | 345 | 04/04/2026 | 46 | 345 |
| yyyyy | More text | 02/03/2024 | 14 | 435 | 02/12/2019 | 65 | 453 |
| zzzzz | Even more | 02/05/2023 | 51 | 345 | 12/05/2020 | 78 | 875 |
| aaaaa | Less… | 01/12/1979 | 24 | 4 | 19/09/2024 | 67 | 3 |
| bbbbb | And some other | 23/05/1985 | 5 | 35 | 12/12/2015 | 234 | 23 |
As you can see, the first columns contain data and general information.
After those, I have a frequency of repeating columns (date - value - value). In the example I made two cycles, but it can go up to 5.
To make the data workable, I need the above data to be organized as follows.
| Titel | Information | Date | Value | Value |
| xxxxx | Some text | 01/01/2023 | 12 | 345 |
| yyyyy | More text | 02/03/2024 | 14 | 435 |
| zzzzz | Even more | 02/05/2023 | 51 | 345 |
| aaaaa | Less… | 01/12/1979 | 24 | 4 |
| bbbbb | And some other | 23/05/1985 | 5 | 35 |
| xxxxx | Some text | 04/04/2026 | 46 | 345 |
| yyyyy | More text | 02/12/2019 | 65 | 453 |
| zzzzz | Even more | 12/05/2020 | 78 | 875 |
| aaaaa | Less… | 19/09/2024 | 67 | 3 |
| bbbbb | And some other | 12/12/2015 | 234 | 23 |
As it are multiple columns where date need to stick with their values, I struggle with the steps to take to make this connection.
Hope you can help me!
Thanks in advance!
