Append tables

Please I need help!

I need to append or merge these two tables. I grouped Table 1 and it became the same number of rows with Table two and I was able to merge them, I later realized I needed the dates as I want to see the total hrs by person, % of target achieved, and total by person the previous week vs this week. because of the date, I cannot group. I need them on a single table so I can make the above calculations in Dax. I am building a report using SQL server so I can refresh it weekly.  The two tables look like this. Please note I am open to other ways of achieving the same result.

@OntheDAXside , these planned hours are for qtr/year? Based on that we can distribute by having a crossjoin with qtr/year and then using common date and person dimension
