Hello.
Is there a way to essentially store a dataset within PowerBI so when I refresh the query (SQL Server) I can then append the new dataset to the old dataset?
Example:
Table is *today's* (the day query is ran) weather
Query results from yesterday:
09.09.2020 78 Nice Weather
Query results from today:
09.10.2020 100 Too Hot
Then append dataset to use in PowerBI Desktop so it shows...
09.09.2020 78 Nice Weather
09.10.2020 100 Too Hot
...in the same dataset to build visuals off of.
The only way I can think of is just using a flat file and paste in new results each day. Then PowerBI would reference it. However, that's not very efficient, and I might as well stay in Excel.
Thoughts? Ideas?
Hope that makes sense.
@CameronCook24 , Have your tried Incremental load of power.
There is a DAX append method that has been discussed on a couple of forums.
