Analysis Services Remote Connection

Hi all,

Is it possible to connect Power BI Desktop to a remote SSAS via webservices or other means?  We would like to give our BI team access, without making them be on the domain or have direct access to the SSAS server.

 

It doesn't look like it is possible, but I thought I read something about it a while back and wanted to ask.
