Analysis Service import mode limit
Hi,
I'm connecting to Azure Analysis Service using import mode instead of Live connection. Reason is because I'm doing custom changes in PBI that I don't want to affect the model in the Analysis Service.
When importing the data, I'm only able to import up to 200k rows per query. Is there a filter or limit that I can remove to pull more than 200k rows?
Thanks!
Hi Omega ,
1.Please check the size of your data model. With import method, you have a limitation on the size of the model. Your Power BI Model (or let’s say the file) cannot be more than 1 GB (if you are not using Power BI Premium capacity or Premium Per User licenses). For more information ,please refer to: Power BI Connection Types: DirectQuery, Live, or Import? Tough Decision! - RADACAD
2.Please check if Azure Analysis Service imposes limitations on the local data model.
If you still have problems, please fell free to contact us in time.
Best regards,
