Analysing a KML data file for time (rather than map)

Afternoon,

After some pointers on this please.

I see a few posts around about using KML file (google earth / wigle.net) to present a map on powerbi and making a visual.

However - Im interested to see results against time. ie a KML file from wigle.net is used to detect wifi networks.

Id want to present this is a day / tiem chart to then show what wifi netwerks were on at what dates & times

Any hints / Tips apreciates thanks

  • swemerald KML is just fancy XML. You can use the built-in XML parser or roll your own parser.  Can you provide some sanitized sample data?

  • Not easy data to clean,

Ive done sample in a public carpark. So can argue its publically available. Can I PM / Upload somewhere?

You can PM and I can provide an email address to send it to. Or use one of the file sharing services.
