Allow users to select visual type in the report
Hi All,
We need to provide an option for the user to select the visual/chart type in the report. For example a report has 3 visuals being displayed, we require an option to choose the visual/chart type (like bar, pie, line) to change for each visual in the report.
The visual A is currently displaying the bar chart, the user should be able to select a pie chart in slicer or other way and the visual should change to pie chart.
How can this be accomplished?
Can you please help on this.

Hi pradeepiqss,
You can achieve something like this with buttons and bookmarks --> different bookmarks display different charts at the click of a button.
Here's a reference illustrating the idea.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the article, i am able to change the chart type when the button is clicked. How ever when i click on button to change the chart type in one visual, the other visuals in report page reset back to old chart type.
I tried with 'Selected Visuals' option in book mark but still it does not work. Can you please help.

Hi pradeepiqss,
I'm happy to help but I am having trouble fully understanding your needs..
Can you post images displaying what is now happening and what you would want to happen when a button is clicked?

Hi pradeepiqss,
Power BI doesn't supports to dynamically change visual type depend on slicer selection. As a workaround, you could try bookmarks as suggested by t_R.
