All of my PBIX files are getting corrupt

Each time I save any changes to a PBIX file, then reopen the edited file, I get an error:

Unable to open the document. File is corrupt or an invalid report file

All my PBIX are either on my desktop or Onedrive. Luckily, I can restore older versions from Onedrive, so I have been able to get working copies again pre-changes. And I have stopped editing my PBIX files for now, as there isnt any point saving any changes to them

All my files have no special characters in the filename.

Is there anything I can do?

Edit: Forgot to mention, I am using Windows Store Power BI Desktop, so it is always up to date (currently Aug 2020)

Its ok I found them elsewhere:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive#march-2020-upda...

I was clicking on the 'Download Center' link, but the actual files are further down in the article:

@ansa_naz , I saw a few topics around august 2020. Check if there is an issue reported here. Vote for that or log a new one

Yes Im using August 2020 version to edit the files. So I need to revert to July 2020 as a test - any idea how I can get Jul 2020 version?

I know this won't help but we save down each update in a folder so if we need to roll back we can.

Hi @Daviejoe any chance you can send me Jul 2020 on a Onedrive link please? Bit stuck for where to get it from

Hiya,

I am trying to find it, ironically, we've moved over to One Drive and I can't seem to find the files. My boss may have deleted them.
