All available features in the column tools options are greyed out

Breedo123_0-1647882109757.png

Hi there,

As per the screenshot, the features in the column tools options are greyed out. I'm trying to create some data groups but do not have the option to.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The connection mode of this pbix file is Live connection. So the model is not stored in your pbix file, this is the reason why you can not change it. You can check the mode at the right bottom of this window.

If you want enable changing this, you can use DirectQuery for Power BI datasets and Azure Analysis Services. And change the mode to DirectQuery so that you can do some changes on this column. Or modify the mode to import mode.
