Hi all,
Please help a Power BI novice ![]()
I am using previous year football results to make a dynamic table of league position throughout the year. I have data in rows like below (not shown is also the date of the game played). I have the goals scored by each team (home and away) and the number of points assigned to each team based on those goals.
The issue I'm running in to revolves the need to combine the results from the home/away columns. Each team will appear equally in the home and away columns (AS Monaco is away below, but home above).
I need the data to remain separated, as I also need their performance home and away, but I don't know how to combine them into one, overall points tally, organized by team. I need to assign the points value received per match to the team as the season progresses.
Can any help be offered? Thanks!
Hi @dts6gc ,
What is your excepted result then? Could you please share more details about that or you can creat a sample pbix to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
Ultimately, a table something like below, with a slicer for matches played (MP). pbix file should be accessible below.
