Good Afternoon,
I have built a Scorecard/Summary (SPC) Table with these columns:
By default, this shows rows pertaining to the "Latest Date" (Month).
I simply wish to add additional Columns for the previous month e.g. The Name of the previous month, and its Numerator and Denominator to compare with the Latest Date. Is this possible ?
Or will I need to create a separate standard matrix (non-SPC) to show the comparison ?
Appreciatively
The visual in question was imported as PBISPC_DEV.1.4.4.20.pbiviz.
The Outcome/Numerator section seems to only allow one field/measure unfortunately (which is currently occupied by the only field pertaining to data for all months). When I mean SPC table, I mean the SPC visual (not the underlying table). The SPC visual is a Scorecard/Summary Table and its unclear how to append additional columns to it (such as the previous' month' figures). As this Scorecard/Summary Table has access to all months' data, it literally handpicks only to show the Latest month's Data, in spite of there being no kind of filter to restrict it as such !
Hi @F_Reh
To add additional columns for the previous month, including the Name of the previous month, its Numerator, and Denominator, you can indeed modify your existing SPC table. You don't necessarily need to create a separate standard matrix. Here are the steps you can follow:
Insert new columns in your existing SPC table for the previous month's data. You can name these columns "Previous Month", "Previous Numerator", and "Previous Denominator".
Populate these new columns with the relevant data for the previous month. Ensure that the data aligns correctly with the corresponding rows of the latest date.
This approach allows you to maintain a single SPC table while adding the necessary comparison data. If you need further assistance with the implementation, feel free to ask!
Best Regards
