Hi Anonymous ,
According to your description, you have highlighted the column as ‘image URL’, like this:

So, I think the problem is your image URL.

You can refer to the article:

My test:

(Image URLs  can’t be local paths.)

 

When can get a imge URL like this:

Hi Lionel

I tried the following two methods - 

1) The image on a local path (ie. my desk top)

2) Posting the image on a SharePoint site (to which I have access as well)

 

Unfortunately both did not work.  The image did not show up.  I did indicate Under the 'modelling tab' as Image URL.

    Hi Anonymous ,

    1. It's right that 'The image on a local path ' doesn't work, because we can't use local path.

    2. We also can't use the URL of SharePoint.

    Display in a report:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-images-tables 

    If you want to show the local images in a report, do like this:
