Say i have sales data, with rows by product, product type, the amount sold and then the year sold (e.g. row 1, product = Orange, Product Type = Fruit, Sold = 8, year = 2018, row 2, product Apple = 10, year 2018 etc).
I have a measure to calculate sales that looks something like SUM('Table'[Products Sold]), which responds to slicers like year and product type.
This is all fine, but i now want to have a slicer so the user can restrict their choices to only show products that have sold more than X amount. I cant use the measure as it seems you cant use this as a slicer.
Any ideas how you might implement this?
Thanks 🙂

@GlassShark1
You assign the measure "SUM('Table'[Products Sold])" to the slicer in the Filter Pane for this visual and set the amount you desire. Please check the below example for a different data set.

Thanks @Fowmy, but unfortunately i can't use the filter pane in my organisation. Also, ideally i wanted to do with with a slicer, so it can sit with other slicers I need and the user can see everything being applied in one place. I would want them to start with their selections, then decide to filter them down to 'greater than X', rather than this logic being applied to the choices first, which i think may trip them up the way it's presented

Not had the chance to apply it yet, but pretty sure this gives me the answer. Thanks 🙂
