How do I create subtotals for each time period using a grid? For instance, Actual vs Budget for each Quarter along with the Total for the year? I have managed to create a grid showing Budget vs Actual but have not figured out how to add the Variance. The data is coming from two different data sources.

You may try to add a calculated table and use measure.
