My data model has a date table with both fact tables using the date column as join column. This new table is joining the date table on the same column as the previous table but nothing matches up and it just gives me the sum total without any dates. What is this telling me about my data model? Is it possible to have more than one fact table that uses different date metrics?
Can you share the image of your data model with all active relationships? If possible sample dummy data with your measure
here you go. the revenue table has its own effective date column but once its on a visual, it's inaccurate. the revenue table cannot see the date table it seems. it just returns the grand sum total for every row
I guess the question is, how to have multiple fact tables in one model?
