Hello,
I need to create a four page report with four independent direct queries. Each page can be a direct copy of the other but needs its own direct query.
I created a report in desktop that uses a direct query to populate it. This page is formatted exactly the way it needs to be. I saved it, copied it, and renamed it. Opened the 2nd report and changed the query name and direct query and everything is great. Now I have two identical reports with different data sources just like I need.
The issue is they are now in separate files and they need to be in the same report, just separate pages. Is there any way of doing this? I have tried everything I can think of, but am too new to BI to know many of it’s short cuts.
To just add/duplicate another page and re-create all of the measure etc. will take days. especially since it needs to be done thre times over.
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hey @odavis ,
I do not exactly understand what you are looking for.
I assume four "different" dq connections, means four tables.
You can achieve this by creating four connections pointing to same data source.
Then you can point the visuals to table in need,
Using CTRL+A / CTRL-C on one page allows to insert the viusals on a different page in the same report.
If this does not help, please elaborate more on "4 different direct queries" what does this mean
Regards,
Tom
My project request is a multi page report that consist's of four pages. These four pages are almost identical except the direct query is different.
I created the first report. I then copied the file in file explorer and renamed it. Opened it in BI and and made few name changes from the original and this is my second report.
The issue is I now have two different projects. I would like to merge these two projects together that consist of a single page report and end up with a two page report.
I under stand the copy/paste aspects but that only copies the visual(s) and not there queries. The queries contain the measures that make the report a report and they also need to be copied as well.
Without being able to copy the entire report or merge the projects together all of the work, well over a day, needs to be duplicated. And for me that means four times.
Thank you for your reply.

I guess another way of asking this question is, how to add a template file to an existing report project as an additional page or add new page from template?
Thanks,
Orlando
