Hi All,
I have a table wich shows Total Sales of the branches in a Year 2017 As:
Branch Sales
A 120,000
B 132,504
C 250,000
D 150,000
Total 65,2504
I wanted to add a Custom Filter which will show me Total Year Sales for one branch When the filter in the report is applied to Month Of January Only Like:
Report Filtered by January 2017
Filter Branch Sales Total Sale for 2017
Jan-17 A 13,800 120,000
Jan-17 B 5,960 132,504
Jan-17 C 25,690 250,000
Jan-17 D 19,500 150,000
Total 64.950 65,2504
Thanks
Hi @waseemsiddique,
According to your description, I’m not very sure about what your data model is in the Data View, and what you want to obtain using custom filter. Could you please give more detailed information about "custom filter" and desired output so that I can offer more effective solutions?
If there is ‘month’ or ‘date’ field in your data model, in this case, you could directly add the ‘month’ field to table visual so that you can see total sales per month per year. Besides, to filter table visual based on year/month selection, please add the ‘month’ field to slicer.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
