Hi, I have a problem similar to the one shown below:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Import-Data-from-Access-that-uses-ODBC-connection
I have connected PowerBi to the same ODBC connection and the Access database that pulls from it, but the queries in Access don't show up correctly, as seen in the picture here:
What would I need to do to get this to work correctly in the future? I am not skilled at writing queries in PowerBi and most of the queries already exist in the Access DB.
Additionally, it seems like I can only import 1 specific table from ODBC at a time; is there a way to import an entire folder as a data source without having to highlight each individual table?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hi @breadearner,
That error is a little weird. Actually you can connect and retrieve the queries. Can you select the queries and import them?
You can select queries as many as you want. You also can use the function as the snapshot shows.
Best Regards,
Dale
It seems to load the tables from the Access DB just fine, but when the queries are involved, it fails to load the preview and coughs up the error.
Hi @breadearner,
Can you share the files? It seems fine in my test. Please refer to the snapshot below.
Best Regards,
Dale
Going to bump this to see if anyone can help me. Sorry!
