Access Denied Issue with Azure Data Lake Gen2 Storage in Microsoft Fabric Portal

Hello,

I am experiencing an access issue when trying to connect my Azure Data Lake Gen2 storage account through the Microsoft Fabric administration portal. I am receiving an "Access Denied" message when attempting the connection.

As far as I know, my account should have the necessary permissions, but there seems to be an authorization or configuration issue.

I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

Best regards,

RP

    Hi Anonymous ,

    You can try the following:

    1. Ensure that your account has been assigned the necessary roles and that the account has the required permissions. Look for any discrepancies in permissions and adjust them if necessary.

    2. Ensure that the firewall settings for the storage account allow access from the necessary IP addresses.

    3. Try clearing the data source settings, clearing the permissions, and then reconnecting to the data source.

You can refer to these documents:

Also, this seems to fall under Azure, you can  create a support request, or ask Azure community support. You can also submit product feedback to Azure feedback community.
