Hi,
Honestly up to now, I haven't got any reference on how we're going to use Datalake Gen2 connector from PowerBI desktop. Does anyone ever try and have done Power BI report using directly from ADLS Gen2 ?
From my research all this time, including webcast or demo from Microsoft or Udemy or any website/blog, actually what I found is they all using Power BI Service Dataflow (to connect to ADLS Gen2), end then in Power BI desktop, using Get data from Power BI Dataflow instead.
Or in more "older" ways is from any sources go to Data Lake Gen2 then using Databricks to Azure SQL Datawarehouse then Power BI connect to that Azure SQL DW.
So what is the use and how are we use the connector ADLS Gen2 in Power BI desktop ? then how we create the data model and all the report after it ?
Thanks,
Hi @admin_xlsior ,
I think this article might be helpful: Analyze data in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 by using Power BI
