A web API key can only be specified when a web API key name is provided

Hey 

I am trying to connect to an API returnet some details. 

However, when I post in the API key under the "Web API" I get the "A web API key can only be specified when a web API key name is provided" error code. I have read that one must copy the same API key into the username under basic, but unfortunately this doesn't work either.

Based on your description, there is a way to get around the Power BI limitation of not being able to perform anonymous authentication for Web data sources that require API keys by using Azure function proxies.
