A pop up window after trigger
Hello,
is it possbile to make a pop-up window to confirm the trigger?
not neccesary a window, any other method to confirm the trigger.
issue: if the trigger is made with no filters, it will send emails to many people which I want to prevent by a warning message after clicking the trigger.
thanks in advance

HI, @Anonymous
It seems you're looking for a way to create a confirm step before running the flow in Power Automate.
there are a few potential ways you could add a confirmation step:
Manual Button Trigger: You could use a manual button as your trigger and add a confirmation step in the button itself. This wouldn't work for automated flows but could be a good solution for manually triggered flows. The confirmation would be set up in whatever system you're using to trigger the flow, rather than in Power Automate itself.
Approval Step: You could include an approval step at the beginning of your flow. The flow would be triggered automatically, but the first thing it would do is send an approval request to a specific person or group of people. The rest of the flow won't proceed until the approval is granted.
- Start by creating a new Automated flow with the trigger you had in mind.
- Then add a new step and search for 'Start and wait for an approval'.
- Choose an approval type - the simplest is 'Approve/Reject - First to respond'.
- Configure the approval action. You'll need to specify who should receive the approval request, and you can include details about what they're approving.
- Then, continue with the rest of your flow actions under the 'If yes' branch that will send the emails or perform the actions you want. You can leave the 'If no' branch empty or include an action to notify that the approval was rejected.
Please remember that this is not exactly a 'confirmation' for the trigger, but it can be used to prevent unwanted flow execution. If the approval is rejected, the rest of the flow won't run.
Send a Test Email to Yourself: Another approach could be to have the flow first send a test email to yourself with the list of recipients. You could then manually check this list before manually triggering another flow to send the emails.
Remember that it's always a good idea to carefully design and test your flows to ensure they're working as expected and not sending too many emails or performing other actions too frequently.

Thanks again, I already though of this solution but after I trigger from the pop up window, can I close the window and navigate the home page in one click. I tried the 2nd solution; send the approval by email and it worked but I prefer the first one.

Here is the idea. You create a button name it properly then use bookmark to show a confirmation window.
Create the pop up window on a new page. there you can show your message and add the power automate trigger button.
follow this video for the pop up window creation.

Hope this helps.
