A measure to exclude values from one column based on filtering from another column

Nobleks_0-1709162719217.png

I have the above data set and I am trying to get the sum of the question value except when the text in the Fail column is "yes".

Nobleks_1-1709162816145.png

I've tried a few different measures, but when I select "yes" on the slicer, I'm having an issue getting it to ignore the question value data. I would value any assistance as I think I have been working on this too long and am overthinking the problem.

Thank you,

Hi @Anonymous ,

Create a measure.

Sum Except Fail = CALCULATE(SUM(table[question value]),filter(all(table),table[Fail] <> "yes"&&table[date]=selectedvalue(table[date])))

Thank you for the prompt reply. I actually added an if statement and just zeroed out the score possible and took care of the Score Percentage that way.

Thank you!
