A circular dependency was detected:

Hello.

I have a table with Country, Currency, Program, Partner Type, Product, Billing Month, Incentives Month, Rate, Revenue (measure = sum (table[subotal])), Incentives (measure = table[Revenue]*0.05), Revenue $ = [Revenue]/table[Rate] and when i try to create the Incentives $ = [Incentives]/table[Rate] I get the error <pi>A circular dependency was detected: table[Incentives $], table[Revenue $], table[Incentives $].</pi>

Is there any way i can make this work?

I checked online, but i wasn't able to find a solution.

Thank you

Hi @vbis ,

Circular dependencies are detected whenever two objects refer to each other, so that Power BI cannot process these objects.

This is a good refresher on circular dependencies:

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and test data. Looking forward to your reply.

Henry
