3D Map issue

how can I use the map as default of showing the whole of this Singapore map as below:

when I change from 3D Map to Highlights, and back to 3D Map, the 3D Map becomes below:

  • Hi thiamhuat2026 ,

This behavior is expected because the 3D Map visual re renders and auto-fits based on the current data when returning to the page. To keep Singapore as the default view, you can set the desired zoom level and save it using a bookmark, as recommended by rajendraongole1 , or save the report after adjusting the map position.

    Use a Bookmark (Recommended):

Open the report in Edit mode.
Adjust the map to the preferred Singapore zoom level.
    Open the Bookmarks pane.
Add a bookmark (for example, Default Map View).
Set Data = Off and Display = On.
Use this bookmark whenever returning to the page.

This helps reopen the visual at the saved map position.

Alternative Option - Save Current View:

Go to the 3D Map page.
Manually zoom/pan until Singapore is displayed as required.
    Save the report.
    Reopen and test navigation.

In some cases, the map retains the last saved camera position.

    Hope this helps.
    Thank you.

  • Hi thiamhuat2026  -3D Map resets zoom due to auto-fit behavior, use bookmarks instead of tabs and add boundary coordinates to force the map to stay focused on Singapore.

also suggest can you try Azure Maps visual, which handles zoom/state more reliably 3D map.

    Hope this helps.
