I have a column in my report that is supposed to have 2 values, B and blank but when I added a slicer for sorting its showing me 3 options. Its showing (Blank), nothing and B. When I select (Blank) or the blank option, it shows me different rows .
I went into power query and tried replacing a space with blank but I am still seeing three options in the report and only two in Power Query.
This is what I am seeing in Power Query:

Hi @Anonymous ,
The reason of a blank value in the slicer appears is because of a data integrity issue, in other words: you have some bad data in the data model.
To fix the bad data, you need to go to the source. If that is not an option, you can fix it immediately and temporarily in Power BI.
You can remove the (Blank) value in slicer and filter by following the Blank Value in the Power BI Slicer and Filter .
Hope it helps,

@Anonymous You generally get a blank when you have unmatched rows in a relationship between two tables.
Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
