2 Dataset Calculation

Hi There, 

i've trying to get a calculation for the past few days but unable to. 

I would like to count the % of a data from a different data set and the scenarios as per below 

in Tableau modification report, 

"Calc- Modified articles" - represent the count articles that was modified 

in Tableau Calculation report, 

"Article Attached_Tableau report" represent the total cases attached with articles. 

So i would be needing the % of modified articles against the total articles attached. 

Im not sure how to attached the power BI Dashboard. Please let me know how to do it you need it.

It’s my pleasure to answer for you.

I think you may be a bit confused about the concept of report and dashboard.

A report is based on a dataset. A dashboard can be used to present visuals of different reports but can’t be used to calculate content from different reports.

So even if visuals of two reports are pinned to the same dashboard, the operation of calculating data in different datasets can’t be realized.

I suggest that if you want to implement calculations, you can merge the contents of two reports into one report. One report can connect to multiple data sources, and you can create multiple report pages to meet your needs.

If it doesn’t meet your requirements ,could you please share more details about your requirement and share some sample data?

you are right. i merged and tried the calculation but the % doesnt seems to be right.

I checked your .pbix file, but the file is too complicated, it is difficult to see the specific problem. I did some attempts. If you think which data is incorrect, you can point it out.

hi @Anonymous - In the below scenario are "Calc- Modified articles" & "Article Attached_Tableau report" in different tables or in different datasources?
