Storage table in datawarehouse

Hello,

I used a dataflowgen2 to recover an excel file from a sharepoint. First I managed to recover the file.
however impossible to store the table in my datawarehouse and I receive this error message.
Error message
There was an error retrieving the table list. Please try again later.: An exception occurred: Microsoft SQL: An instance-specific or network-related error occurred when establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Cannot open a connection to SQL Server) (Session ID: deefd96f-8356-4990-a4c6-865edaeb3c33, region: france)
You should know that I did indeed send another table in my data port from this dataflowgen2. But 2 days ago I can not store tables)
Thank you in advance for your help
Regards

Hi @DALI007

According to the error message, you are experiencing a network-related problem while trying to connect to SQL Server.

You can try the following steps:

Ensure that the SQL Server instance name is correct.

Make sure that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.

Make sure that the firewall on the Server and any network firewalls are configured to allow the ports that SQL Server is using.

Verify that there are no network issues preventing your computer from accessing SQL Server.

Ensure that the SQL Server Browser service is running.

Check the SQL Server error log and Windows Event Viewer for any relevant error messages that may provide more details.

Hello,

For information, I created a new dataflowgen2 and I manage to store the tables in the datawarehouse. So the problem is dataflowgen2. I can’t solve the problem. Can anyone tell me how to fix the old Dataflow Gen2? Because I collect a hundred tables in the old Dataflow and I do not want to lose it.

Thank you

Would it help if you export the old dataflow as a power query template and create a new dataflow by importing the template?
