I'm wondering why Fast Copy Support is still on the release plan, and not marked as 'Shipped'?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/release-plan/data-factory#investment-areas
Isn't the Fast Copy Support already Generally Available in Dataflow Gen2?
According to these docs, it seems to be Generally Available already:

Fast Copy in Dataflow gen2 is currently in Public Preview. We will make it be Generally Available very soon. Please stay tuned to the release plan update and blog announcement.

Thanks,
Are there any docs which shows that the feature is currently in public preview?
Usually, the docs include a note to tell that the feature is in preview so we can identify a feature as being in preview.
I mean, usually I would expect to find a label on this page (link below) which states that the feature is in preview, but there is no mention of the feature being in preview on this page:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-factory/dataflows-gen2-fast-copy
I'd like to be able to identify if the feature is in preview or general available, because preview features are not meant for production use, ref.:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/get-started/preview
Thanks for your comments. You can currently track it in release plan update in case any bug in the doc.
Thanks,
I think the preview label should be included in the feature's docs. To me, this seems to be the common practice.
It seems unnecessary and confusing having to consult the release plans to double-check whether an existing feature is still in preview.
Side note:
I also think the Fabric user interfaces should label all preview features, so we can easily verify whether a feature is a preview feature or not while we are using the feature. I mean, for us as developers, I think the preview information should be labeled in the editor interface when we are using a feature, e.g. fast copy. (The preview labels do not need to be visible to the end users, however I think it should be visible in the editor user interfaces for us who are creating solutions in Fabric).
Hi @frithjof_v

Thanks,
Does this mean that fast copy support in Dataflow Gen2 is not currently Generally Available?
Is it still a preview feature currently?
Hi @frithjof_v
The documentation does not label it as a preview feature and mentions that the version type has been officially released.

Thanks,
this is why I am confused why it's still on the release plan and not yet marked as "shipped".
The release plans only seem to be updated every few months. Chances are there are plenty of other items that are not up to date with their current release status.
