Dataflow not publishing

Hello everyone,

I have been having issue publishing my dataflow since yesterday. I tried importing the data from both Lakehouse and Excel workbook but still getting the same error. Below is the error message I have been getting.

The mashup could not be converted to a valid CDM Model.

Please fix the mashup, and try again.
Dataflow ID: 4be3af21-4b4f-41f1-b7d0-86eb1a2143ee
Details: Name of 'Attribute' cannot contain leading or trailing blank spaces or consist only of whitespace.
Session ID: 39c58e4f-5ac2-e3f9-e4b5-00ccb8685e91
Root activity ID: 2ce5140c-cd6f-463f-bc57-28dea297d60a
Time: 2023-12-07T11:37:22.833Z

I also raise a ticket on Microsoft Support but yet to hear anything from them. I will appreciate if anyone can help with it. Thanks.

Hi @Oluwapelumi_1

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

Apologies for the inconvenience that you are facing here.

Have you checked the ends of your column names to see if there might be a trailing space at the end?

e.g: "Sales "

If you import data from an Excel sheet with a Dataflow, then the column names must not contain blank spaces.

e.g: "Order Number"

I tried repro the scenario by giving trailing space, I got the same error.

I hope this helps. If you any further questions please do let us know. Glad to help.
