Fabric Warehouse Internal Error: Parameter is not expected to be null or whitespace

When trying to refresh or to create new tables in Fabric Warehouse, error occurs with the following message: "An internal error happened due to failed runtime assertion: Parameter 'columnName' is not expected to be null or whitespace.."

Would anyone know the root cause of this error? No columns in the warehouse appear to be null or whitespace.

Hi @ShermanCAA

You can create a table in Dataflow Gen 2 and set default destination to Warehouse. Correct way

BhaveshPatel_0-1756184271698.png

or

Change columnName to Full instead of whitespace in DataWarehouse. Like FirstName instead of "First Name".

Thanks & Regards,
Bhavesh
