When connecting via SSMS i just don't see any tables. But there are there in fabric:
Seems like a very serious issue. If you cannot browse data reliably how are you depending on customers to switch over from current Data Warehousing solutions (like Synapse Dedicated Pools for example).

As I understand you are trying to connect SSMS to Fabric Data Warehouse. I have tried to repro the scenario and I was successful in getting the list of all the existing tables in the Lakehouse and Warehouse. So it doesnt look like a bug to me at this time . I am attaching the screenshot below . It may help if you can elaborate more on the implementation and will help .
