I am not sure if this is the best place to report an bug/issue in the Data Warehouse Model layout. If not please help get this to the right people.
I was using MS Edge current version 138.0.3351.95 (Official build) (64-bit) in a Fabric Data Warehouse. I Selected the button for Model layouts. I found the the right Properities pane and the bottom bar witht the tab "All tables" flash/vibrate/shake (hard to describe). See screenshot below for the ares that are flashing/shaking.
I then tried going to the same place in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and they both worked fine. This suprised me that the bug was with MS Edge but not the other products. I figured an issue would be the other way.
Any ideas?
thanks
Alan
Hi @asjones,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
From your description and the screenshot, it looks like the flashing or shaking of the Properties pane and bottom bar is specific to Microsoft Edge (v138.0.3351.95). Since Chrome and Firefox don’t show this behavior, it does seem to be a browser rendering conflict.
You can go through these few steps and check if your issue can be resolved:
* Turn off Hardware Acceleration in Edge. Open Edge and go to Settings > System and Performance. Toggle "Use hardware acceleration when available" OFF. Now restart the browser and test the Model Layout again.
* Clear Edge's Cache just in case old files are interfering.
* Try Edge in InPrivate Mode or disable extensions as this can help rule out if any extension is causing the layout conflict.
If none of the above help, at this point it may be worth opening a support ticket with Microsoft. You can reach out to Microsoft Support by raising a ticket with Microsoft Support.
