This weekend I was reading about The Golden Awards in the Football Worldcup and was wondering what could be the best way to visualize this data available on wikipedia (Data Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_World_Cup_awards).
It was fun working on this very small dataset yet tell a story using my Favorite tool of Power BI, viz. Pulse Chart.

I used the Pulse Chart just for the animation part :).
The data shows the (Golden) ball passing from one player to another player, from Paolo Rossi to Diego Maradona and so on...The different positions on the ground doesn't mean anything.
That's unfortunate. Maybe you could add to the dataset the number of goals scored, or games played or something so the positions are meaningful. It will tell a better story. Right now, it's a little confusing.
Makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!
