Financial Reporting

1. The Financial Report has been created based on a customized template.


2. It's being considered that template based financial reporting is one of the complex reporting in Power BI since there're mutiple fact tables involved such as Actuals, Budgets and Forecasts which needs to be consolidated at a one granular level. And DAX needs to be written based on the customized templates which are being shared by the clients.

3. The report get's more complexed when muliple subsidiary companies needs to be analyzed for one single parent company.

4. The report contains the analysis of Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows Statement at a Summary Level as well as at a Monthly Granular level in the form of Tabular analysis as well as Chart analysis. The analysis of Key Performance Indicators showcases metrics from different levels i.e. from P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows in the form of different ratios such as Profitability Ratios, Financial Ratios, Efficiency Ratios, Leverage Ratios, etc .

5. Under each of these analysis, comparisons are made between the Current Year V/s the Previous Year between the metrics Actuals V/s Budgets.
