Hi,
I have a pipeline in which, toward the end, I save mulitple delta tables into the lakehouse. Right after that I have a semantic model refresh activity, and this semantic model is querying the freshly saved tables in DirectLake connection.
It happened to me couple times (not always though) that the model refresh was theoretically successfull, but reports were not working. I found a manual solution: I open sql endpoint of the lakehouse, refresh it, and then refresh the semantic model (again, it's direct lake connection). After that I everything works.
Hi @Ostrzak
Can you tell me if your problem is solved? If yes, please accept it as solution.

Hi @Ostrzak
Thank you very much for sharing! As you discovered, manually refreshing the SQL endpoint and then the semantic model can solve the problem. While not ideal, it could be a temporary fix until a more lasting solution is found.
Since the feature is currently in the preview stage and has not officially gone live, there may be some issues that are difficult to predict. Please wait patiently for the official version of the function, thank you for your understanding!
Regards,
Nono Chen
