Hi all,
I have a pipeline set up to copy data from an Oracle database using the Oracle Database Connector in Data Factory. However, I encountered the following error message:
Failed to open the Oracle database connection. ORA-12570: Network Session: Unexpected packet read error ORA-12537: Network Session: End of file Activity ID: d4f95cbb-2adf-4fdf-975c-d23c2551069e
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Thank you!

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.
The errors you are encountering, ORA-12570 and ORA-12537, indicate an issue with the network connection between Microsoft Fabric and the Oracle database.
ORA-12570: Network Session: Unexpected packet read error: This signifies an unexpected issue during data transfer between Fabric and the database.
ORA-12537: Network Session: End of file: This suggests the connection was abruptly terminated before data transmission was complete.
For more details please refer :
Link 1 : ORA-12570: Network Session: Unexpected packet read error (oracle.com)
Link 2 : ORA-12537: Network Session: End Of file (oracle.com)
Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can consider which might help you.
Check Network Connectivity: Ensure a stable network connection exists between the machine running Microsoft Fabric and the Oracle database server. Verify firewalls aren't blocking communication on the relevant ports (typically port 1521 for Oracle).
Validate Connection String: Double-check the connection string used by Microsoft Fabric to connect to the Oracle database. Ensure details like hostname, port number, service name, username, and password are accurate.
Restart Services: Sometimes, restarting the Microsoft Fabric service and the Oracle database service can resolve temporary glitches.
Temporary Glitch: Clearing cookies and caches can sometimes resolve temporary glitches within the application that might be causing the issue.
Corrupted Data: In rare cases, corrupted data stored in the browser's cache related to Microsoft Fabric might be causing the issue. Clearing the cache removes this potentially problematic data.
Hard Refresh: A hard refresh bypasses the cached version of the webpage and forces the browser to download the latest version from the server. Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
I hope this information helps.
Thank you.
