Unable to append data to data to Data Table from CSV file

I have uploaded some CSV files to my Lakehouse, all CSV files have same structure. I created a Data table by using "Load Data to Table > New Table" option. then I added content of another CSV file by same option "Load Data to Table > Existing Table" option.

But, when i am trying to push content to third CSV file using "Load Data to Table > Existing Table" option its, instead to appending the rows in existing table, creating a separate "Unidentified object" as shown in figure below.

Please let me know why unidentified objects are created and where can i check the error log about this issue ?

No, Actually i tried to push the data of a CSV file into my Managed Table, but i couldn't. Every time I try to append data it ends up in unidentified area.

I will try some work-arounds separately loading the content of CSV file into a delta table then i can try to append the rows of new table to existing table, instead of directly appending the content from CSV to delta table.

Hi @zaminator
Thanks for using Fabric Community.

The “Unidentified” area in the Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse is a unique space within the managed area of your Lakehouse. It displays any folders or files present in the managed area that lack associated tables in SyMS. If the table created is not a delta table, it will automatically get saved in the Unidentified folder.

For instance, if a user uploads unsupported files like images or audio files to the managed area, they won’t be automatically detected and linked to tables. Instead, they appear in this unidentified area.

There could be several reasons why your CSV files are ending up in the “Unidentified” area:

1) If the table names contain spaces or special characters, they might not be recognized and end up in the “Unidentified tables” section.

2) If there’s an issue with the dataflow, such as a sudden failure to register the table, it could result in the data being placed in the “Unidentified” area.
