Teams (Preview) @/tag user or channel

Hi,

Has anyone used the Teams activity to post in a channel with a "@JohnDoe" or "@channel" and gotten it to work? I've tried both my @username@email.com and @channel but they post as plain text without the notification ping.

Hi Nono, could you please test if you're able to get a "notification" to populate on the teams app? Something like @nonochen or @channel. When I try it, it just comes through as regular text.

I did some testing on Teams activity and I was able to receive notifications in Teams normally.

You can try reconfiguring.

At the same time, this feature is currently in the preview stage and there may be unforeseen problems. These problems will be resolved before the official launch, so please be patient. Thank you for your understanding!
